DONETSK, July 22 – The Infrastructure Ministry is ready to introduce incentive programs envisaging significant discounts for international low-cost airlines that want to work at Ukrainian airports, First Deputy Infrastructure Minister Kostiantyn Yefymenko said.
"The Infrastructure Ministry has outlined its clear position. We want the strong infrastructure of our airports, which was created ahead of Euro 2012, to be used to the fullest extent possible. Today we're ready to introduce an incentive program aimed at attracting transfer passengers to our airports, which envisages significant discounts of up to 80% of the passenger fee, the fee for take-off and landing aircraft at Ukrainian airports, and for new flights. We are confident that competition on the aviation market will benefit passengers," Yefymenko said at a summit of the Routes CIS 2013 international aviation forum in Donetsk on Monday.
