KIEV, July 18 – Electricity production by solar and wind power plants, as well as biofuel stations in Ukraine amounted to 581.4 million kWh in H1, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry said.

Power plants using renewable energy sources in the country (excluding small hydropower plants) increased production by 2.2 times (315.2 million kWh) compared to the first half of 2012.
