KIEV, July 12 – Slovakia's Star Group has finished building a first phase of the largest solar power plant in Ukraine with the declared capacity of 120 MW located near Chervony Perekop and Vasylyivka settlements of Kakhovka District in Kherson region.

The National Commission for Energy Regulation on Thursday issued a license to generate electricity to Star Pivden Energo LLC (Kherson), the subsidiary of Slovakia's Star EU a.s., which will operate the plant and sell electricity generated by the plant.
