KIEV, July 5 – Parliament has adopted two draft laws on recycling of old vehicles and amendments to the Tax Code on the payment of a vehicle recycling tax.

A total of 233 and 235 lawmakers supported the laws, with 226 votes required for approval.

According to the documents, the tax is paid both by importers and vehicle manufacturers, apart from those having a welding-painting-assembly cycle.
