BRUSSELS, July 5 – Kiev and Brussels intend to hold a meeting of a high-level committee on energy issues soon, Energy Minister Eduard Stavytsky told Ukrainian journalists after a meeting with European Energy Commissioner Gunther Oettinger.

He recalled that the idea of establishing such a committee came as a result of an energy conference, which was held in Brussels on May 3. "Consultations are currently held at the level of offices of the European Commission and the Fuel and Energy Ministry, during which we will work out an action plan for the work of this committee," Stavytsky said.
