IVANO-FRANKIVSK, July 4 – Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council Chairman Vasyl Skrypnychuk plans to create a working group to draw up a draft decision on the production sharing agreement to be signed between Ukraine, Chevron Ukraine B.V. and Nadra Oleska to extract hydrocarbons on the Oleska field for the session of the regional council.

"We're preparing a resolution on the creation of a working group for drawing up the decision… The working group is to study all the materials available, the draft agreement and offer a draft decision for the next session of the regional council," he said on the Halychyna television on Tuesday.

Skrypnychuk said that the group will consist of representatives of all 11 permanent lawmaker commissions and factions of the regional council, regional administration, nongovernmental ecology organizations, scientists of the local oil and gas university. Representatives of the relevant ministries and Chevron will be also invited.
