IVANO-FRANKIVSK, July 2 – A research center for the development and support of solutions for shale gas extraction has been created at Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas.

"Last week, on Friday, at the scientific council of the Western Science Center in Lviv it was decided to establish a research center for the development and support of all the decisions made for shale gas extraction in Ukraine. This research center was created at the University of Oil and Gas," professor of Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas Ihor Kysil said at a meeting of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council, which had to consider the issue of shale gas extraction.
