DNIPROPETROVSK, June 19 – The Ekotechnik Praha group of companies in 2013 will start building two solar power plants in Kryvy Rih and Shyroke districts of Dnipropetrovsk region, regional council Chairman Yevhen Udod said.

"The total generation of power by solar power plants will be 20,000 MW a year. If the same volume of power is generated using coal, it would have been equivalent to 20 trains loaded with coal a year," he said at a press conference in Dnipropetrovsk on Monday.
