KIEV, June 17 – EnergoAtom has submitted blueprints to the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate for the construction of reactors 3 and 4 of Khmelnytsky nuclear power plant on the basis of Project NPP-92, which implies an increase in the cost of the project compared with Project V-392B.
"In brief, it will [result in an increase in the cost of the project]… We'll be able to release concrete figures when we receive a technical-commercial offer [from Russia's Atomstroyexport]," EnergoAtom First Vice President Oleksandr Shavlakov said at a meeting at the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate on June 14.
