SIMFEROPOL, June 10 – Anatoliy Mohyliov, prime minister of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, met on Monday with President of Sher Technologies, LLC (U.S.) Rohini Mattu to discuss the implementation of an investment project to build solid household waste processing facilities on the peninsula.
According to the Information Policy Department of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, during the meeting, Mohyliov said that they were currently settling organizational issues to prepare for the implementation of the project in the Kerch and Simferopol districts of Crimea. He said the Crimean government is ready to provide investors with any assistance within their power. He said a number of key conditions have to be met, in particular those of environmental safety, creating jobs for Crimean residents, payments to the budgets and the discussion of the projects with local communities.
In turn, Mattu said that to date they had reached agreement concerning the financing of the project, which would meet environmental safety standards. In addition, the company is willing to give priority to the socio-economic aspect of the project. He noted that Crimea had high investment ratings.
