KIEV, June 7 – Ukraine should consider the possibility of switching to setting its foreign currency exchange rate on the basis of a currency basket as one of the instruments of resisting to external risks, President Viktor Yanukovych said in his annual address to Parliament.

The president said he believes that consideration of a switch to such a regime is a component of a set of measures to form of external shock absorption tools.
