KIEV, June 6 - The National Bank of Ukraine has decided to limit cash transactions to UAH 150,000 starting September 1, NBU Deputy head Vira Rychakovska said at a briefing on Thursday.
"The restriction of cash payments between individuals and legal entities, as well as between individuals under sale and purchase contracts that are subject to notarization, is set at the amount of UAH 150,000. The main goal is to expand non-cash payments," she said.
