KIEV, June 6 – Industrial prices in Ukraine were up by 3.1% in May, while in April the rise was 2.5%, and in general since the beginning of the year the growth was 6.6%, the State Statistics Service said on Thursday.
According to the service, this increase was mainly caused by the rise in the prices of electricity and gas by 12.8% and coal by 3.3%.
In annual terms prices grew by 1.9% compared to May 2012.
