LUHANSK, June 5 – The Energy and Coal Industry Ministry has initiated a reduction in the tariff on shipments of coal products by rail for its further export, Minister Eduard Stavytsky said.

"We're considering the issue and in the near term the decision to reduce the railway tariff will be made so that our coalmines – both state-run and private ones – can export coal," he told reporters in Luhansk region on Tuesday.

The minister said that the issue is being discussed with the Infrastructure ministry and it will be agreed with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
