Ukraine’s insolvent banks repay over UAH 3.7 bln to creditors in 2025 Journal Staff Report
Insolvent banks undergoing liquidation and managed by the Deposit Guarantee Fund directed more than UAH 3.7 billion to repay creditors' claims in 2025, up by UAH 1.55 billion, or about 72.1%, from 2024. "Of the total payments made in 2025, about UAH 1.5 billion was transferred by MR Bank to the state, represented by the National Investment Fund of Ukraine state enterprise, as a ninth-priority creditor, while more than UAH 1.1 billion was paid to seventh-priority creditors," the Fund specified.
