The Ukrainian government has yet to overcome the antagonism of the European agricultural lobby, which views any success by Ukraine as detrimental to European farmers, according to Taras Kachka, Deputy Economy Minister and Trade Representative of Ukraine. "It's clear that what we consider a success, as seen in the press releases of European farmers' associations, is regarded as something harmful to EU farmers. Unfortunately, we have not yet overcome this antagonism," Kachka said.
