IMC reports ‘minimal losses’ in winter wheat crops despite cold weather Journal Staff Report
Despite unfavorable weather conditions, the agricultural holding IMC has reported minimal losses in its winter wheat crops, according to the company's press service. "The weather conditions during the winter of 2024-2025 raised concerns about winter wheat survival. January saw temperatures exceeding +10°C, which led to premature vegetation recovery. However, in February, temperatures dropped to -10°C without snow cover, later plunging to -16 to -18°C with only a thin 5-10 cm snow layer," the statement reads.
