KIEV, May 24 – Bukovyna Solar 1 LLC plans to build a solar power plant with a capacity of 14 megawatts in Khotyn (Chernivtsi region), the company's director, Oleh Pavliuk, told Interfax-Ukraine.
"The projected capacity of the plant is 14 megawatts. At the first phase we've submitted an application to receive technical conditions to connect three megawatts. The start of the construction of the plant will depend on the issue of technical conditions. We preliminary plan to start [building] in late July… Anyway, before January 1, 2014 the plant is to be built," he said.
He said that Bukovyna Solar 1 is Ukrainian-Czech a joint venture. Czech Ranon S.R.Î takes part in the company.
