KIEV, May 23 - Skhidny Mining (Zhovti Vody, Dnipropetrovsk region) said it plans in 2013 to produce 1,050 tons of uranium concentrate, 9.4% more than 2012 (960,200 tons), the corporate newspaper of Skhidny Mining has reported, referring to the company's director general.
"Despite difficulties – the absence of budget financing for development – the mill this year will achieve the indicator of 1,050 tons of uranium concentrate a year. We need to boost production, although the realization of the task is on the shoulders of the mill," said Skhidny Director General Oleksandr Sorokin.
