The volume of hryvnia deposits issued by businesses in January 2025 decreased by 5.2%, or UAH 56.73 billion, compared to December last year, to UAH 1.032 trillion, according to data from the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU). According to the regulator, the average rate on legal entities' deposits in national currency increased by 0.3 percentage points (p.p.) last month - to 8.7% per annum, while for deposits in foreign currency it remained at 0.8% per annum.
