KIEV, May 20 – The Azovmash Group, a leading Ukrainian heavy engineering company, in 2013 plans to supply a large batch of newly designed tanker cars for chemicals, production of which will be started in the second half of 2013, to private company AzMeCo (Azerbaijan), reads a posting on the Azovmash's Web site.

The report says that the pre-production model of the new tanker car was accepted by the interagency commission, consisting of heads of AzMeCo, representatives of Azerbaijan's railways ADY and Ukrzaliznytsia, the main car-building design bureau of public joint-stock company Azovmash and subversion agencies.

After obtaining the certificate in the Federal Railway Transport Certification Register of Russia (FRTCR), Azovmash will start mass production of the tankers.
