KIEV, May 16 – China's Tianjin Lishen Battery Joint-stock Co., Ltd plans to build a battery plant in Dnipropetrovsk region, and the Ukrainian partner of the project could be a large battery producer in Ukraine – Westa Corporation (Dnipropetrovsk), Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration reported.

The report says that this was discussed at a meeting of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration Head Dmytro Kolesnikov with a delegation from China, which included President of the Chinese company, Qin Xingcai and Executive Vice Presidents Zou Yufeng and Shi Yunhai.

First Vice-President of Westa Corporation Vasyl Pidlubny also took part in the meeting.
