As of the end of 2024, a total of 167.51 MW of small-scale generation facilities were connected directly to the networks of distribution system operators (DSOs, or regional power companies), with 32.78 MW commissioned over the past year. This was detailed in a letter from NPC Ukrenergo addressed to the chair of the Verkhovna Rada's Temporary Investigative Commission on possible misconduct by government officials, MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak, dated January 15, 2025. The text of the letter was shared on his Telegram channel last week.
