Ukraine’s Western regions see 40% on-year increase in visitors to resorts Journal Staff Report
Western regions of Ukraine have seen a 30-40% increase in visitors to resorts and tourist locations during the winter holidays compared to last year. "Last season, even with excellent snow conditions, we had fewer visitors. This year, the number of tourists has grown by 30-40%, primarily due to increased offerings in the region and a slightly more positive overall sentiment," said Andriy Dzvynchuk, chairman of the Association of Hotels and Manor Owners of the Yaremche area, in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
