Switzerland will send almost CHF 45 million to Ukraine to help it get through the winter period. The funds are intended for repairing the energy system, damaged housing and other urgent needs, the website of the Federal Foreign Office reported on December 18. "Switzerland is helping Ukraine to cope with the challenges of winter with almost CHF 45 million. The funds will be used to restore energy infrastructure, renovate damaged homes and meet urgent humanitarian needs," the report notes.
