Metinvest Group announced the suspension of work at the coal site of Pokrovsk Mine Management in the village of Pischane (near Pokrovsk, Donetsk region), which provided about half of all Metinvest coal production in Ukraine due to the approaching frontline and increased shelling. "Metinvest, together with Pokrovsk City Military Administration and representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is closely monitoring the security situation in the city and at industrial facilities," the company said in a stock exchange statement on Thursday.
