KIEV, April 24 – The directorate for construction and management of the Air Express national project and other infrastructure projects in Kiev region has selected China National Machinery Industry Complete Engineering Corporation to design the blueprints and carry out construction work on the project on the creation of railway passenger lines between Kiev and Boryspil International Airport.

According to a report in the Visnyk Derzhavnykh Zakupivel bulletin, the offer was accepted under a single bidder procedure on April 17. Its cost is $373.313 million (value added tax not included). It will take 28 months to carry out the work.

The Air Express project is being realizing using borrowed funds issued by China with Ukrainian government guarantees.
