KIEV, April 22 – The Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities plans in 2014 to obtain the first tranche of EUR 200 million as part of a loan from the European Investment Bank worth a total of EUR 800 million, which will be used to upgrade heating, water supply and drainage systems.

"The industry urgently needs the comprehensive modernization of heating, water supply, and drainage systems. Therefore the ministry jointly with the EIB developed a program of lending," said Minister Hennadiy Temnyk.
