Lawmakers propose postponing Euro-6 motor vehicle emission standard Journal Staff Report
MPs of Ukraine propose to postpone the introduction of Euro-6 emission standards for motor vehicles in the country until January 1, 2027, which were supposed to come into force on January 1, 2025. Relevant bill No. 12267 on amendments to the Customs Code regarding the exemption of defense goods from import duty and the law on certain issues of import to the customs territory of Ukraine and the first state registration of vehicles regarding the requirements for compliance with environmental standards was registered at the Verkhovna Rada on November 29.
