KIEV, April 22 – The projects for the production of BTR-4 armed personnel carriers under the order of Iraq and BTR-3E1 armed personnel carriers for the Thai Army, as well as the modernization of An-32 light transport aircraft for the Indian Air Force, according to the Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies, have become the best export projects of Ukraine's defense industry in recent years.

Center Leading Expert Serhiy Zgurets, when presenting the rating, said that the key criterion in the evaluation of projects in this category was the profitability of export contracts for providing orders for the national defense industry: their total amount is estimated at $1.275 billion.
