DNIPROPETROVSK, April 17 – U.S. company Orbital Science Corporation has praised cooperation with Ukraine in the creation of new Antares medium-class space launch vehicle, built for delivering cargo to the International Space Station, and is confident there are good prospects for the development of a partnership on the project, the company's management has said.
"Orbital is fully satisfied with cooperation with Ukraine's Pivdenne Design Bureau and Pivdenmash as part of the Antares project. It would be impossible to launch the new rocket without the participation of Pivdenne Design Bureau," Program Product Manager at Orbital Sciences Corporation Daniel Van Hulle said at a press conference on Wednesday at the opening of an international conference "Space Technologies: Present and Future."
Hulle also said that Orbital "looks with confidence at the prospects of cooperation with Ukrainian partners."
