VYSHGOROD, April 16 - Ukraine plans to develop the hydropower generation sector and bring the share of electricity generated by hydropower plants in the country to 15%.

"We have a large-scale program for the development of domestic hydropower generation. We jointly with the World Bank want to bring the share of hydro power plants in total electricity generation in the country to 15%," Prime Minister Mykola Azarov told reporters after familiarizing himself with the work of the Kiev hydroelectric power plant in Vyshgorod on Tuesday.
