Ukrainians will soon stop receiving the civil allowance (Bürgergeld), which is intended for unemployed citizens of Germany and amounts to EUR 563 per month, and in general social benefits will be reoriented, said German Finance Minister Christian Lindner, according to the Bild publication. "We must consider the issue of a separate legal status for refugees from Ukraine," Lindner told the Wirtschaftswoche publication.
