KIEV, April 12 – The first launch of the Cyclone-4 rocket from the Alcantara Space Center (Brazil) is scheduled for the end of 2014, said Yuriy Alekseyev, head of the State Space Agency.

"At the moment, the launch is scheduled to take place in November or December of 2014," Alekseyev said at a briefing in Kiev.

According to Alekseyev, works on the construction of the launch complex at Alcantara, Brazil, are currently in progress. The complex is 52% ready.
