The final document of the second annual Ukraine Mine Action Conference (UMAC-2024) with a commitment to support humanitarian demining – Lausanne Call for Action – was signed by 42 countries, the Ministry of Economy reported. "The document calls for addressing the needs of victims and people with disabilities, as well as promoting partnerships and innovations to improve the effectiveness of mine action," the Swiss Foreign Ministry noted following the first day of the conference with the participation of 61 delegations.
