KIEV, April 10 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture has raised its estimate of grain and maize exports from Ukraine in the current marketing year (July 2012 through June 2013) compared to its forecast given in March 2013, by 500,000 tons per each type of grain crop.
According to a report posted by the department on its Web site on Wednesday, 7 million tons of Ukrainian wheat could be supplied onto the world market, while maize supplies are estimated at 13.5 million tons. Total grain supplies are projected at 22.71 million tons.
