KIEV, April 9 – The Ukroboronprom state-run concern admitted it may fail to meet time constraints in the realization of Phase II of the NATO/Partnership for Peace Trust Fund's project on weapons, small arms/light weapons destruction in Ukraine, due to the insufficient and uneven financing of the project by donor countries.
At an international conference devoted to the pace of the realization of the program on Monday in Kiev, Yevhen Holubenko, head of Ukroboronservice, part of Ukroboronprom, expressed alarm at the level and the pace of financing of the program's Phase II stated this year by donor countries.
