Ukraine's economy is developing somewhat better in the third quarter of 2024 than the National Bank expected, and GDP growth for the quarter may exceed the forecast of 3.1%, said Deputy Governor of the NBU Serhiy Nikolaychuk. "We see that in the third quarter, despite our concerns that GDP may slow down significantly and economic activity may suffer from the energy crisis, businesses and the population are adapting well to these difficult conditions," he said.
