KIEV, April 3 - Sevki Acuner has been appointed the new director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Ukraine.
According to the bank's office in Kiev, the senior EBRD banker will take up his duties in Ukraine on June 1.
Acuner, who previously held the position of EBRD Deputy Country Director for Turkey, is replacing Andre Kuusvek, who has been appointed Director of Local Currency and Capital Markets Development at the EBRD's headquarters in London and who had been Director for Ukraine since 2008.
Acuner is a Turkish national and holds a BSc in Management from Bosporus University, Istanbul, and an MBA from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.
