IVANO-FRANKIVSK, April 3 – The coordination council for construction of small hydroelectric facilities and flood protection at Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Administration has recommended the regional inspectorate of the state architectural and construction control cancel a decision to build a mini-hydroelectric power plant on the Dzembronia River (Bystretska rural council, Verkhovyna district).

"We recommend canceling a decision to build [the mini-hydroelectric power plant on the Dzembronia River]. The grounds for the cancellation of the permit are that the project is not being followed," First Deputy Head of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Administration, Vasyl Plaviuk, said at a meeting of the coordination council.

He said that the permit to build the mini-hydroelectric power plant on the Dzembronia River was not issued by the Bystretska rural council. There is no positive decision from the local community or an agreement on the social participation of the businessman in the development of the settlement.
