KIEV, April 2 – Citizens of Ukraine should prepare for more severe winters, a meteorologist said.
"In general such winters will be repeated, but surely [next] winter won't be worse than this winter," Vazira Martazinova, head of the department for climate research and long-term weather forecasts of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Hydrometeorology of Ukraine's NAS, said at a press conference in Kiev.
Talking about the coming summer, Martazinova saidd that in summer one should expect "heavy showers and very hot days."
"This is our reality and our current climate," she said.
