DONETSK, April 2 – Authorities of Donetsk region are calling for the redistribution the volumes of coal sales due to the fatal fire at the Vuhlehirska Thermal Power Plant, as the stopped plant consumed over 200,000 tons of fuel every month.

"The issue is very important for the region – 200,000 tons of coal has to be redistributed to other power plants consuming coal. We have the power plants, we only need to sit down and agree," head of Donetsk Regional Administration Andriy Shyshatsky said at a press conference in Donetsk on Monday.
