KIEV, April 1 - The warming that came to Ukraine allowed some regions, mainly in the south of the country, to resume sowing suspended in March because of cold and snowy weather.

The head of the department for grains and industrial crops at the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food, Leonid Sukhomlyn, said that over the last three days farms had sowed spring crops on 11,000 hectares.
