KIEV, March 22 – International donors have already provided EUR 18 million for the implementation of a project for Ukraine's disposal of its stocks of melange, a toxic rocket fuel component, the Foreign Ministry said.
The country has been conducting the project jointly with the OSCE since 2009.
"According to the European side, more than EUR 10 million was spent on the removal of almost 9,000 tons of melange from the military bases in Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Kiev regions. The remaining funds were sent for the removal of melange from Kharkiv and Odesa regions, as well as its disposal," the ministry said.
