KIEV, March 6 - The European Investment Bank as of today has funded the reconstruction of roads approaching the city of Kiev to the tune of EUR 124.5 million, while the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development allocated about EUR 130 million, according to the adviser of the head of the State Agency of Automobile Roads (Ukravtodor), Yevhen Prusenko.
According to Prusenko, tender procedures for the reconstruction of the section of the Kiev-Odessa between 17th and 87th kilometer have almost been completed.
"The [reconstruction] work is to begin in 2014 and to end in the same 2014," he told reporters in Kiev on Wednesday.
