KIEV, March 4 - Ukrainian state enterprise Skhidny Mining and Enrichment Combine (VostGOK), Ukraine's only uranium ore producer and processor, produced 960.2 tons of uranium concentrate in 2012, 7.6% more than in 2011, the Energy and Coal Ministry said in a report.
VostGOK fulfilled its 2012 production target in full, the ministry said.
It was earlier reported that that VostGOK produced 892.1 tons of uranium concentrate in 2011, up by 5.1% on the 848.7 tons produced in 2010. In the first half of 2012, the company increased production by 6.7% year-on-year, to 420 tons. Production in the first nine months of 2012 was 30.7% up year-over-year, to 691.3 tons.
