KIEV, Feb. 21 – From March 1 to December 1, 2013 receiving licenses to make medicine imports to Ukraine will bear a declarative principle to prevent there being obstacles to importing these products to Ukraine, Health Minster Raisa Bohatyriova said.
"Today the government took a decision that from March 1, 2013, obtaining licenses of medicine imports to Ukraine will bear a declarative principle. That's why we don't expect increasing prices or other obstacles when imported drugs cross the border," the minister said during a hotline with readers of newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda v Ukraine, the press service of Health Ministry reported on Wednesday.
She also said the conditions for obtaining import licenses would be transparent and be made known in advance to the participants of the pharmaceutical market for so that they could complete all of the necessary procedures ahead of time to gain access to the Ukrainian market.
