KHARKIV, Feb. 20 - Shell and Ukrgazvydobuvannia under an agreement on joint activities are preparing to drill a second well in Kharkiv region, said Graham Tiley, the head of Shell in Ukraine.

"Now we are planning to drill the second well under this project. Our second well will be drilled in Blyzniukivsky district. We have published a statement of intent," he said at a press conference in Kharkiv on Wednesday.

Tiley declined to name the intended date of the start of drilling, citing the fact that the company has to get permits, approvals and hold consultations with local residents.
