KIEV, Feb. 19 – The government plans in February or March to submit to Parliament a draft law on a reduction in the unitary social tax rate to 15% and the expansion of the progressive personal income tax scale, with a reduction of the minimum rate to 10%, First Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov said.
"With the aim of liquidating the conditions for the existence of the shadow economic sector and the transfer of the tax burden to the more solvent categories of citizens, it is planned to reduce payments to the labor fund via a large cut in the unitary social tax," he said in an interview with the Business weekly published on Monday.
