KIEV, Feb. 12 – A central storage facility for nuclear waste (mainly spent sources of ionizing radiation) should be built and commissioned by December 2014, according to Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Andriy Kliuyev.

The NSDC's press service quotes Kliuyev as saying that another nuclear facility should also be put into operation by 2015– a neutron generator based on a sub-critical assembly driven by an electron accelerator.
